TheStreet.com’s Stock Up on Acquisition Rumors

TheStreet.com, which has been desperately looking for a buyer for some time now, saw its shares shoot up today after a story in NYPost about its possible sale.

No names have emerged...I’ve pinged a few people and it seems the most obvious names might not be the buyer. I’ll leave it at that for now while I try to find out…

TSCM hired Allen & Co a year ago, and has been looking for a buyer...in the meantime, it has disposed off its research unit. For everything TSCM, check our dedicated company page
