Standard Website Sputters to Life

Speaking of The Standard (see below), its website has been sputtering back to relative life...Matt Macallister, the original web designer for The Standard website, and now working at IDG’s Infoworld, has convinced his superiors to let him do bring back the website to life, as a side project. He’s using some open-source PHP based CMS system (looks like Geeklog) and essentialy blogging Internet-related IDG stories…

Update: Matt comments: “Yes, in fact, thestandard.com is on a growth path. There’s clearly a need for more coverage of the Internet business, and there are plenty of people out there who’s jobs depend on figuring out how to stay competitive online.”
