RSS-Based Biz Info Firm KnowNow Gets $13 Million Funding

KnowNow, a Sunyvale, CA-based online information and alerting firm, has received $13 million in venture funding. The round was led by RSS Investors, the investment fund focused on RSS technologies. Also participating are new investor Presidio STX—the early-stage investment vehicle of Sumitomo Corp.-- and existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Levensohn Venture Partners, and Palomar Ventures.
