Podcast Advertising Tech Firm Kiptronic Gets $4 Million First Round Funding

Kiptronic, a San Francisco-based audio and video podcast advertising technology firm, has received $4 million in its first round of funding. The round was led by Blueprint Ventures and Prism VentureWorks with participation from existing angel investors. The company’s technology allows for dynamic and targeted ad insertion for video and audio files for podcasts. The company’s web server software is integrated into Akamai and others. It was founded in 2005.
