Photo Scrapbook Site SnapJot Receives $1.5 Million Funding

By Rafat Ali - Wed 27 Dec 2006 07:15 PM PST

Another funding we missed earlier this year: SnapJot, an online scrapbooking service based out of SF, has received $1.5 million in angel from Ron Conway, angel investors and Amicus Web, an early-stage venture firm, reports Red Herring.
The company allows participants to add comments to photos, as they can do on sites like Yahoo Photos, Flickr, and Tabblo, but the company aims to group the photos into “jots” or miniature narratives organized somewhat like blogs.
