PBS.org Media Project Launches This Week

By Staci D. Kramer - Sat 14 Jan 2006 04:03 AM PST

MediaShift, the new PBS.org project from my former OJR colleague Mark Glaser, is slated for a Wednesday launch. The tagline: “your guide to the digital media revolution.” (Only a placeholder page for now.) He’ll write a daily blog with more in-depth pieces weekly, adding a podcast and video down the line. For Glaser, it’s a chance to “finally do the things that I’ve been writing about in the third person.” He’ll look at the way the Internet and technology are changing the way people interact with media and be a guide through the mysteries of RSS, wikis and the like.
Update: Just got the press release.
