Microsoft Zune May Sell EMI’s DRM Free Music

“May” is the word, as Microsoft is still in talks with EMI on selling the DRM-free music. The music label has already tied up with Apple iTunes on it, but it is not an exclusive deal. DJ story points out that some analysts say it might take Microsoft’s Zune Marketplace a while longer to sell unprotected songs because of a few issues, such as Zune’s ability to share, songs with other Zune users.
