MarketWatch CEO Larry Kramer: Broadband And Content’s Future

By Rafat Ali - Mon 18 Oct 2004 10:11 PM PST

MarketWatch CEO Larry Kramer in ContentNext Series: “Television is a point-to-multipoint broadcast medium, which lends itself to appointment viewing. The web is interactive and allows for the use of video, audio and text differently at any given time. It would be inefficient to use such a medium for a one way broadcast. I don’t think the web will ever be the right place for lots of people to watch the same thing at the same time.”
