Less Deals At Trade Shows As TV Business Goes Year-Round

[by Mike Butcher @ MIPCOM] [Hollywood Reporter] Gradually, less deals are being made at MIPCOM, and media trade shows generally, as the global content market turns into a year-round business. And that’s not just because torrential rain shut down a dozen big stands temporarily because of electrical problems. However, MIPCOM - as are all real-world shows - great places to press the flesh with customers, clients and colleagues. Not everything can go online!
