Google Adds BMG, Warner To Video Ads Test, Following Viacom

By Rafat Ali - Mon 22 Jan 2007 03:30 PM PST

Google, which rolled out its videos ads test with MTV/Viacom last year, would now distribute advertising alongside videos from Sony BMG and Warner Music Group over its AdSense system to online publishers in a four-week test now underway, reports Reuters. Ads will be billed on CPM basis, unlike its other CPC systems.
As an example, WMG has themed video channels, and a site owner can embed it on a section of the site dedicated to running AdSense. Visitors then can click to watch ad-supported videos within the video channel on sites running the ads. Like before, the sites on which this program can run are chosen few.
