GamePolitics Blog Bought by ECA

An interesting small deal: GamePolitics.com, a blog about the video industry from a regulatory and political perspective, has been bought by recently formed outfit Entertainment Consumers Association. The blog was launched in March 2005 by Dennis McCauley, a longtime video game journalist and columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The ECA is a newly formed web-based consumer organization for gamers...it describes itself as: “Serving as an advocacy organization, the ECA mission is to give gamers a voice and ensure that state and local politicians hear their concerns and appreciate their demographic power.” Some more info in the release.
