FT.com Ad Revenues Fall; Subscribers Increase

By Rafat Ali - Mon 28 Jul 2003 07:07 AM PST

Revenues at FT.com were “level” on last year despite a threefold increase in subscribers, who pay to access in-depth content on the financial news and information website. It added 41,000 paying subscribers since June 2000, when it had 16,000, taking its paid-for subscriber base to 57,000.

However, a fall in ad sales that was reflected throughout the FT Group meant sales stayed flat.
