Earnings: IVIL Net Income Triples In 4Q05; Revenues Up 65 Percent

Work in progress. 4Q05 net income for iVillage Inc. more than tripled over the previous year to $8.8 million, or 12 cents a share, from $2.4 million, or 3 cents per share, in the same quarter the previous year. Revenues for the quarter of $30.1 million were up 65 percent from $18.2 million in 4Q04.
Some highlights: 
-- iVillage.com revenue alone nearly doubled from the previous year to $22.7 million from $12.5 million. The site had what iVillage characterizes as “organic” revenue growth of 30 percent.

-- Metrics: iVillage has 14.5 million month uniques and reaches nearly 11 percent of U.S. women 18+ every month, according to comScore Media Metrix. It’s the #1 women’s community site, #4 community site overall, and, on a combined basis, #8 among health sites.
