Blog Payola Firm PayperPost Gets $3 Million Funding

By Rafat Ali - Mon 02 Oct 2006 09:12 AM PST

BW: The Orlando-based startup matches advertisers with bloggers willing to write about their products for $2 and up per post. “Bloggers get paid to write about products without having to disclose that payment, which by any measure is deceptive. What’s more, advertisers can--and usually do--specify that those bloggers must write positive comments on the product.”
