AOL and Fusion Entertainment are pairing up in a joint venture to launch Lat34.com, a broadband sports channel. (Ijn case, you’re latitude challenged, its named for the company’s LA location—34 degrees N/118 degrees W.) Jeep is on board as the charter sponsor for the site, scheduled to be beta through the summer. The new channel also emphasizes interaction—don’t they all?—and will make use of AOL’s AIM and AIMPages. Jeff Rowe is the president and CEO of Lat34.com. Release.
