Answers.com Acquires Wiki-Based Q&A Site FAQFarm For $2 Million

Reference and dictionary service Answers.com has bought out FAQ Farm, a wiki-based website containing a library of user-contributed questions and answers. TThe price: $2 million in cash, representing a multiple of about five times revenue, the company said.
FAQ Farm, formed in 2002, generates over 12 million pageviews per month, has 280,000 unique questions and answers on its website, and over 100,000 registered contributors, the company said.
