Consumers can purchase the XTCMobile Application for $7.99 per month...While XTC Mobile is not directly affiliated with any mobile network operator at this time, the XTCMobile Platform allows the video service to be offered directly to customers over any open data network. For the initial launch, customers with Sprint PCS Vision enabled phones can immediately access XTCMobile content.

The video will initially broadcast at approximately 1.5 frames per second providing a ‘slideshow’ type video presentation. Broadcast TV runs at approximately 15 to 30 frames per second. After the roll-out period, XTC will be offering up to 90 different channels, featuring product from many manufacturers.

Interestingly, Wicked Pictures is also investing in a number of stand-alone kiosks where cellphone users can walk up and download new proprietary ringtones, “moantones,” animation, screensavers and miniclips of Wicked women either by inserting a few dollars in the provided slot, or charging same to a credit card.
