San Diego-based video sharing site vMix Media has added $16.5 million to its second round of funding, reports PE Hub. Investors include ATA Ventures and JK&B Capital, as well as previous investors Mission Ventures and Enterprise Partners. Earlier this year, the company began the round with $5.5 million from Mission and Enterprise, for a total of $22 million. The two firms also participated in an unspecified first round early last year. The site looks like your typical video sharing service, although it has agreements with various content owners to offer copyrighted content that users can interact with and manipulate. It also offers its technology as a white-label video service.
