The Travel Channel has acquired online tourism magazine World Hum. The Cox Communications-owned cable channel plans to integrate World Hum’s content into its TravelChannel.com site. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. World Hum, founded in 2001, will remain as a stand-alone online pub, though founding editors of World Hum, Jim Benning and Michael Yessis, will become regular contributors to TravelChannel.com as a result of the acquisition.
