THQ Acquiring Role Player Big Huge Games

Videogame publisher THQ will acquire Big Huge Games, a maker of role-playing games. The acquisition will help THQ (NSDQ: THQI) target the RPG market, by expanding its library and development capabilities in this area. Founded in 2000 by game industry veterans, Big Huge has 100 employees and is based in Timonium, Maryland. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Release.
