This Weekend: In NYC For SAMMA Conference

By Rafat Ali - Fri 28 Sep 2007 05:51 AM PST

I am in NYC today and tomorrow for the South Asians in Media and Marketing Summit 2007 at NYU. Since I happen to be one, I am moderating a panel on social media there, and our India-focused site ContentSutra is also a sponsor of the conference. We’ll have some coverage of the conference here and on ContentSutra.

You are too much! It’s so funny that you’re speaking at my alma mater. Have a spectacular weekend!

Great job Rafat.  Rafat’s panel was one of the most jam packed panels at SAMMA (standing room only).

I am biased of course as a Founder of SAMMA but the reviews are it was one of the best panels of the conference.

Was surprised but ended up with 250+ South Asian new media & marketing folks from across LA, Chicago, & SF.  From NBC Wireless (Salil Dalvi) to the NBA (head of digital… Bhavesh Patel).

Wish I could have heard what Ramu of Hi5 and Nihal Mehta of Ipsh! mobile marketing had to say.

Glad you made it Rafat.  Heard you got some great stuff out of them.
