The Gossip on Jossip: Trying To Sell Itself

By Rafat Ali - Thu 13 Mar 2008 01:52 AM PST

Jossip, the Gawker-Media-wannabe network of popular media and celebrity focused blogs, has put itself up for sale, and even got NYP’s Keith Kelly to write about it. That should help...also the non-rumor that Conde Nast might have given it some thought.

Besides Jossip, it has three other sites: mollygood.com, a celebrity site; queerty.com, a gay lifestyle site; and stereohyped.com, aimed at a black audience. David Hauslaib, the founder, told NYP that it may be getting into a joint venture or a minority investment, rather than a sale.
