TargetSpot Gets Funding From CBS Radio And Others For Streaming Ad Platform

TargetSpot, a streaming media ad platform provider, has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Union Square Ventures, CBS Radio and web animation company Oddcast. Aside from its investment, CBS Radio will use the technology on its more than 100 music, talk, sports and news radio stations broadcasting live online. Also, TargetSpot plans to create a solution for streaming video advertising later this year.
Doug Perlson, the co-founder and CEO, was previously the COO of Seevast (fka Kanoodle), and also served as SVP Partner Development and Operations at About.com. Release
