South Asian Video Portal TinselVision Gets $3 Million Funding

TinselVision, a South Asian-community focused online video portal, based out of Washington, DC, has received $3 million in first round funding. The round was led by Innovative Entertainment, a Geneva-based holding company and subsidiary of Innovate Energy Group.
TinselVision’s service hasn’t officially launched yet, and slated for later this summer. It has Bollywood movies, as well as Indian TV shows, among other genres. More details in the release here.
