Social Shopping Site ThisNext Secures $5 Million Second Round

A day after rival shopping recommender StyleFeeder said it closed its first round funding, now comes news of a $5 million second round for ThisNext, according to PEHub. Previous investors Anthem Venture Partners and Clearstone Venture Partners participated in the round. Santa Monica-based ThisNext earlier raised a $2.5 million first round. Last summer, the shopping site received an undisclosed amount of venture debt, which it used as a bridge until it prepared for its second funding round.
