Qloud, a social music service backed by Steve Case’s Revolution LLC, has officially launched, unveiling a list of investors and directors. In typical Case fashion (see the recently announced Revolution Money), the company sports a number of other big name investors, including AOL (NYSE: TWX) Vice Chairman Emeritus Ted Leonsis, former Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) music chief Dave Goldberg and Jim Bankoff, former head of AOL’s online music properties. Bankoff is now serving as the company’s chairman. Others involved include former Warner Music EVP Paul Vidich, former EMI SVP Tom Ryan and Chris Blackwell, the founder of Island Records.

The Washington, DC-based company claims that its My Music service, which allows users to play and share their music via Facebook, is second only to iLike among music applications on the site. Going forward, the company plans to work with other social networking services and media platforms.  Founders Toby Murdock and Mike Lewis were both formerly at AOL. Investment terms were undisclosed.
