Some new but still unclear details on post NBCU-News Corp JV developments from other media companies, in this BW column from Jon Fine.
Among them: .
-- This spring, MySpace will formally push into YouTube’s video-sharing turf, launching an offering that insiders currently call MySpace TV.
-- Also, Time Warner suddenly sound confident that a mutual technical solution to copyright issues with YouTube is close enough to make likely a content-licensing deal.
In a related development, AOL-owned Advertising.com will manage all the advertising for the new joint venture video service. It will provide display and video ad management and fulfillment for the new video site and for the dedicated video player embedded on that site as well as across its distribution partners, the company said.
