By Rafat Ali - Wed 12 Sep 2007 03:44 PM PST

You’ve probably seen a new byline crop up this week on paidContent.org: Joseph Weisenthal is joining us as our new financial and deals reporter, based in New York City. He is a former equity analyst turned writer and prior to this, his writing could be found at Techdirt.com as well as his own site, TheStalwart.com. He also contributes to Dealbreaker.com, a Wall St. gossip blog. Currently residing in NYC, he hails from Austin, TX, where he studied at the University of Texas, graduating with a degree in Government. When not in front of his computer, which is rare, he can often be found at a chess game or a poker table. You can contact him at joseph AT paidcontent DOT org.
