Online Hispanic Ad Network Consorte Media Gets $7 Million Funding

Update: The company has officially announced it on Dec 3rd: it has raised $7 million in second round. The round was led by new investor Sutter Hill Ventures and included a follow-on investment from existing investor Mayfield Fund. More in release here.

Original post: Nov 20: SF-based Consorte Media, an online media and advertising network targeted at Hispanic communities, has added Mayfield as an investor in a recent, undisclosed venture round, reports SiliconTap. Consorte, which is headed by Alicia Morga, a former VC with both The Carlyle Group and Hummer Winblad, has previously received funding from angel groups Band of Angels and the Woodside Fund.
