Rupert Murdoch has a bit more money for his Dow Jones kitty ... News Corp. sold its 7.5 percent interest in Australian newspaper publisher John Fairfax Holdings Ltd. The 75 million shares valued at AU$381 million ($310 million) were sold to institutional investors at a small profit, according to Reuters.
