Music Social Net Imeem Gets More From Sequoia

By Joseph Weisenthal - Tue 15 Apr 2008 01:10 PM PST

Imeem, the music-based social net, has taken an unspecified follow-on investment from Sequoia Capital, according to Tech Confidential. Details are scant, and it’s not known whether past backer Morgenthaler Ventures is also involved. The Palo Alto-based company recently acquired Snocap, the digital music start-up founded by Shawn Fanning. Last year, the company resolved a copyright infringement lawsuit brought by WMG by striking a rev share deal.
