MTV’s Plans For Digital Gaming Expansion; All of South Park Online

By Rafat Ali - Wed 28 Nov 2007 11:37 PM PST

A nice and short video interview from Reuters, (NSDQ: RTRSY) with Mika Salmi, President, MTV Networks (NYSE: VIA) Global Digital Media, on Rockband online expansion and other online gaming efforts. Also, the plans for other websites such as the standalone Dailyshow.com.

Then, much like what it did with the Daily Show, MTV plans to make every clip from every episode of hit animated comedy “South Park” available for free online next year, according to MTVN CEO Judy McGrath, speaking at the Reuters Media Summit in New York on Wednesday.

Mika needs to understand more about applications, gaming, platforms, communities across both WEB and Mobile.  Sadly its clear he doesn’t understand these spaces and their interrelationships.
