Mixercast Gets $4.25 Million in Second Round For Media Remixing

San Mateo-based Mixercast, which lets users remix professionally created content, has taken $4.25 million of a $5.57 million round, according to PE Hub. Intel (NSDQ: INTC) Capital was joined by earlier backer ComVentures, which previously invested $2.6 million, for a total of $6.85 million raised. Mixercast, which has licensing agreements with various record labels, offers a widget that can be embedded on blogs and social networking sites displaying user creations.
