Grayboxx, a provider of local search services, has been sold to BayAdvisor, which operates in a similar space, according to VentureBeat. Grayboxx offers a fairly straightforward service, letting users search by business type and location, while BayAdvisor is more B2B-oriented, offering a data search to Bay Area business. BayAdvisor, according to the report, plans on using the Grayboxx platform to expand its service. Terms of the deal were not reported, though it’s suggested that the sale was a minor win for Grayboxx backer Sierra Ventures.
