Still early at the sprawling Fairmont in San Jose, the venue for Yahoo’s (NSDQ: YHOO) annual meeting later today. The purple t-shirts are in abundance, so is the security. And yes, the media and their trucks. No specific media room for the throng of reporters, but there’s paid Wi-Fi. Some product booths from Yahoo, including Yahoo Finance, Search and others. More reports later…

Later: In waiting mode, but other journalists are trying to wrangle average Joe shareholders for interviews. And all the average Joe wants to know: Why isn’t Carl Icahn showing up?
