iTV Content Developer Accedo Gets $1.28 Million Investment

Accedo Broadband of Stockholm, Sweden, which makes interactive content for IPTV platforms, has received 9 million krona ($1.28 million) from state-established investors Industrifonden as well as its early-round backers. Formed by Michael Lantz and Fredrik Andersson in 2004, the company makes interactive games and eye candy applications like aquariums for interactive TV and clients in 10 countries in Europe. The money will be used to accelerate sales in Europe, North America and Asia. Accedo also has a London office. (Release).
