Industry Moves: Wright Heads Turner’s Content Creation Group; CBS Interactive Adds Research Power

Turner: Michael Wright, head of original programming for TNT and TBS for the past several years, has been promoted to SVP of the reorganized and renamed Content Creation Group. Wright adds responsibility for original programming ventures on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and original content for all three networks’ digital extensions. Wright is based in LA and reports to Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks.
CBS Interactive: David Botkin joins as SVP-research and audience analytics responsible for establishing metrics and analytics for digital audience research. He’ll report to Patrick Keane, EVP and CMO, and will work closely with David Poltrak, chief research officer for parent CBS and president, CBS Vision. Botkin comes from the online world. He spent the last five years at eBay and before that was at Epinions (now Shopping.com).
