Industry Moves: WB; Rotten Tomatoes; IAB; ESPN; MSN UK

-- WB: Jacqueline Jourdain Hayes has been promoted to SVP-business and legal affairs for the company’s Digital Distribution division. In her new capacity she will provide counsel on acquisition, distribution and protection of content for digital initiatives. She first joined Warner Home Video in 1998 as counsel and joined the digital division eight years later when she was promoted to VP-business and legal affairs. Release.

-- Rotten Tomatoes: Shannon Ludovissy joins as general manager, the company tells us. He will be responsible for setting strategic direction and managing operations as well as overseeing all aspects of the FIM-owned site. Ludovissy joined FIM (NYSE: NWS) in 2006 as VP-entertainment products and had previously worked in product management at Movielink, Fandango and NBC Internet.

-- Interactive Advertising Bureau: 24/7 Real Media CEO David Moore has been named vice chair of the online ad industry group. The appointment expands Moore’s role in the IAB. He has served on the IAB board of directors since 2001 and its executive committee since 2005. The IAB has also named several online marketing execs to its executive committee, including Lynda Clarizio, president, AOL/Platform A; Greg D’Alba, EVP/COO, CNN Advertising Sales and Marketing; Gordon McLeod, president, The Wall Street Journal Digital Network; and Christopher Ma, VP, The Washington Post Co (NYSE: WPO). -- ESPN: Announcing two exec promotions: longtime top spokeswoman Rosa Gatti will take on the position of SVP-communications counsel and corporate outreach and Chris LaPlaca will be SVP-corporate communications. Gatti, reporting to president George Bodenheimer, will focus on growing the company’s V Foundation and multi-faceted outreach initiatives. She joined ESPN (NYSE: DIS) in 1980 as director-communications and has since had various senior management roles. She hired LaPlaca in 1980 as a communications representative; he will now report to Ed Durso, EVP-administration and will oversee external and internal communications in addition to working with Disney’s corporate communications groups.

-- MSN UK: Former Reuters SVP of general news Katie King is joining Microsoft’s (NSDQ: MSFT) MSN UK as creative and development head, leading an initiative to help advertisers create branded online content.
