-- Playboy: Dan Smith has been tapped as SVP-marketing, for Playboy’s (NYSE: PLA) digital media group, a new post at the company, according to Adweek. Smith, who previously worked on Encyclopedia Britannica’s digital marketing, will oversee Playboy’s digital branding and e-commerce business.

-- Vivox: Matthew Bellows joins as VP-consumer strategy, responsible for extending the reach of the company’s voice services into new games and virtual worlds. Bellows comes from Floodgate Entertainment, where he served as GM, and was co-founder of WGR Media, now owned by CNET (NSDQ: CNET). Release.
