Catching up on some industry moves:
-- MTVN International: Nickelodeon’s UK chief David Lynn will move over to MTV to serve as EVP/managing director for the UK and Ireland operations. Lynn replaces longtime MTV exec Michiel Bakker, who exited the company in mid-February after the unit announced 250 job cuts, Digital Spy reported. According to HR, an MTV spokesman said Bakker’s departure was unrelated to the restructuring, which will merge MTV U.K.’s creative division with international production.
In addition to Lynn’s job shift, Heather Jones, MTV UK’s managing director of music and comedy, has been promoted to EVP for content and creative. Reporting to Lynn, she will be responsible for all TV, multi-platform content and brand strategy for MTVN’s music and comedy channels.
-- Citysearch: Jay Herratti has been appointed president, following the departure of Briggs Ferguson. Herratti most recently served as SVP of strategic planning for IAC/InterActive. His transition will last next two weeks. He is expected to serve in that position full-time by April 1. Release.
-- Bravo: Jason Klarman has been promoted to EVP, marketing and digital, at Bravo. Klarman, previously SVP, marketing and brand strategy, will add responsibility for ad sales marketing, working with Bravo’s head of sales, Susan Malfa, who recently joined Bravo from Court TV. (via TVWeek.)
-- Conde Nast: Lisa Ryan Howard has been promoted to publisher of its fashion websites Style.com and Men.Style.com; the post has been vacant since late 2006. She was previously executive director of corporate sales from the Conde Nast Media Group. (via Mediaweek.)
