Industry Moves: NBCU; Baseline StudioSystems; Hearst-Argyle; MySpace; Travel Ad Network

-- NBCU: Veteran program exec Jamila Hunter has been hired to the new position of SVP-programming and development for NBC Entertainment’s alternative and digital unit. Hunter will now be responsible for developing alternative programming, including web-based series development and business development for the company’s web properties. Most recently, she served as VP-comedy development for 20th Century Fox Television and earlier was VP-development and production at Bravo. Release.

-- Baseline StudioSystems: Dan Sherlock has been named president of the NYT-owned company, effective July 21. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of site operations and report to Vivian Schiller, SVP and GM of NYTimes.com. Previously, Sherlock was VP and GM of Movies.com, which was recently acquired by Fandango from Walt Disney Internet Group (NYSE: DIS). Earlier in his tenure at Disney, he served as VP-marketing for Disney Online. Release.

-- Hearst-Argyle Television: Roger Keating is joining the company as SVP-digital media. Previously, he served as a member of Time Warner Cable’s (NYSE: TWC) strategy-setting operating committee and as corporate EVP for the Los Angeles region. Prior to Time Warner, Keating was SVP and GM for AOL (NYSE: TWX). Release.

-- MySpace: The social net has tapped Dave Stevens as its GM for MySpace Canada to oversee strategy and operations. In his new role, he will lead content, product and marketing development and create ad solutions for brand partners, while reporting to managing director of international operations Travis Katz. Stevens joins from CanWest Digital Media, where he served as VP-product management and strategy. Release.

-- Travel Ad Network: Former BusinessWeek sales director Keith H. Kenner is joining TAN as director of midwest sales, a new position. Before BusinessWeek, Kenner was national account manager for the NYT Co.
