Industry Moves: NBC’s Silverman Appoints Cameron Death As VP, Content

Ben Silverman, the new NBCU co-chair at its TV and entertainment division, has brought a digital person directly under him: Cameron Death, till now the U.S. director-branded entertainment at MSN, is leaving to lead digital development under Silverman, reports AdAge. Death will become VP-digital content at NBC. The two have worked together in the past: Silverman’s own company Reveille had a branded entertainment deal with MSN.

    The kiss of Death? Last time I checked MSN innovated all of nothing in the online entertainment world. But then again, the biggest success Silverman’s green lit has been his trade article slamming Reilly and McPherson. Well done Hype-sters!
