Industry Moves: KidZui; Meebo; WSJ; PC World/Macworld; Takkle; Vibrant

-- KidZui: KidZui, the Internet for Kids launched three weeks ago, has tapped Andy Jedynak as its president and chief marketing officer, reporting to chairman and CEO Cliff Boro. Jedynak comes from WeatherBug, where he served as its chief marketing officer.

-- Meebo: Former CNET executive Carter Brokaw has been appointed as the company’s chief revenue officer. Most recently, Brokaw worked at Warner Music Group (NYSE: WMG), focusing on direct-to-consumer business. Prior to that he spent a little over 10 years as VP of corporate sales at CNET (NSDQ: CNET). The move comes soon after Meebo started raising a $25-30 million round at a $200-$250 million valuation.

-- Wall Street Journal: Ellen Asmodeo-Giglio has been named VP/publisher of its new lifestyle magazine, WSJ, which is scheduled to launch in September. Asmodel-Giglio was formerly SVP and publisher of Travel + Leisure Magazine, having spent 17 years at American Express Publishing.

-- PC World and Macworld: Jessica Lilie has been appointed to the new position of VP-strategic intelligence to lead market research efforts by leveraging both online and offline platforms. Most recently Lilie served as VP-consumer insights and market intelligence at BabyCenter.

-- Takkle: The high school sports community has hired Sean Mahoney as its VP of advertising sales. Previously, he spend nine years at ESPN (NYSE: DIS) working in advertising sales.

-- Vibrant Media: Walter Yang has as VP of sales and will establish the company’s Chicago operations. Most recently he was sales director at Brightcover Midwest and previously worked in a variety of sales management roles at AOL (NYSE: TWX) for eight years. Release.
