Industry Moves: IAC Hires GM For Tina Brown Project

By Rafat Ali - Wed 21 May 2008 10:00 AM PST

The Tina Brown-led news aggregation site that is being hatched under IAC (NSDQ: IACI) has a new GM: Caroline Marks, the former GM of Comcast’s not-so-successful social video site Ziddio, has joined the un-named project as GM, reports Kara. Marks will report into Nick Lehman, who reports into Michael Jackson. Already announced: Edward Felsenthal, the former deputy managing editor of WSJ, has been tapped as the site’s editor. The site is slated to be a no-partisan, and more culturally focused than HuffingtonPost.

Meanwhile, FiLife, the IAC-Dow Jones (NYSE: NWS) JV site on personal finance, should finally be launched soon...it was resurrected from almost-dead earlier this year.
