Haymarket Media Buys Compliance Week

By David Kaplan - Tue 10 Jun 2008 10:43 AM PST

Haymarket Media, the US arm of the UK-based publisher of magazines like PR Week and Management Today, has bought Financial Media Holding Group’s Compliance Week. Terms were not disclosed. A Haymarket rep said that the company was impressed that CW is able to charge $999 a year for a subscription, as many other pubs worry about how much of their content to put on their sites for free. CW also has a paid e-newsletter and charges subscribers extra for its webcast series and special reports. The deal is set to close July 1. Release

The banker on the deal from Financial Media Holdings Group’s side was The Jordan, Edmiston Group, a longtime sponsor of ours.
