By Staci D. Kramer - Sun 24 Feb 2008 07:55 PM PST

The timeline for Viacom’s (NYSE: VIA) megabucks copyright lawsuit against Google (NSDQ: GOOG) and YouTube has been extended, well past the March 13 anniversary of the filing. A March 7 deadline for Google to turn over documents has been pushed back by two months, from March 17 to May 9, according to Reuters. U.S. District Judge Louis Stanton declined to give Google the three months it requested to continue going through some 4.5 billion documents.
