Glam Media Buys Fashion Site Stylemob

By Rafat Ali - Thu 27 Mar 2008 08:41 AM PST

Glam Media, the woman/lifestyle/fashion network, has done a small acquisition: it has bought out Stylemob, we have heard through sources, and now confirmed from the company (Valleywag wrote the rumor first this morning). The acquisition was done earlier this year, and, in fact, Stylemob co-founder Adam Souzis was announced as executive director of Glam Labs, the technology research arm of Glam, Feb. 4 by Glam. Stylemob is less than a year old, and the three employees have all joined Glam.

Glam recently raised $84.6 million in funding, and said that some of that money would be used for acquisitions.
