Earnings: The Knot Q4 Revs Grow 11 Percent; Online Ads Up 21 Percent

Weddings site The Knot reported Q4 revenues of $24.1 million, up 11 percent year-over-year from $21.7 million. Quarterly net income of $2.6 million ($.08 per share) compares to net income of $14.6 million ($.45 per share), but the previous year’s figure included significant one-time gains. Online sponsorship and ad revenue came in at 13.34 million, up just under 21 percent from $11.04 million. For the year, total revenue came to $98.7 million, up 36 percent, though $10.9 million of this came through the acquisition of the WeddingChannel business, which provides online registry services.
