Earnings: ComScore Q4 Revs Up 38 Percent; Stock Down On Outlook

Online measurement firm comScore (NSDQ: SCOR) reported Q4 revenue of $25.3 million, up 38 percent from $18.2 million in the year-ago quarter. Net income hit $12.7 million, up from $2.6 million, however this quarter included an $8.1 million one-time tax benefit. Some highlights:

-- The company added 58 customers in the quarter, bringing its total to 895.

-- Subscription revenue accounted for $20.2 million, while project revenue came in at $5.1 million.

-- For the coming quarter, the company is forecasting revenue of $25.9-$26.2 million and earnings of $.11 per share. Analysts had been looking for earnings of $.18 per share, prompting the stock to fall 14 percent after hours.
