Earnings: aQuantive 1Q Profit Up 87 Percent

aQuantive (Nasdaq: AQNT) reported that its 1Q profit rose 87 percent to $14.2 million, or 16 cents per share, from $7.6 million, or 10 cents per share, a year ago. Revenue rose 55 percent to $142.6 million. For its three business segments, aQuantive reported:

-- aQuantive’s digital marketing services segment had 1Q revenue of $83.1 million compared to $55.2 million 1Q06.  Operating income was $10.3 million in 1Q compared to $6.1 million last year. 

-- Revenue for its digital marketing technologies unit was $38.1 million versus 1Q06’s $27.7 million. Operating income was $13.9 million compared $11.1 million for the same period of the prior year. 

-- The digital performance media unit’s 1Q revenue of $21.4 million compared to $9.3 million last year. Operating income for that segment was $3.2 million for the first quarter of 2007, compared to $1.8 million in 1Q06. Earnings release | Webcast
